I have a Master's degree in Psychology. I have studied psychology in Europe's high-ranking Universities: the University of Turku, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and Erasmus University of Rotterdam. Additionally, I have also studied Vipassana meditation internationally in Ethiopia and India.

I am especially prepared to consider the challenges of people from various minority statuses, such as ethnic, sexual, neurological, or gender minorities. These topics were also reflected in my thesis, which I conducted on the challenges of multicultural interpersonal relationships. Adjusting to new environments and situations, as well as facing the challenges of living as an international, are contexts that I am personally invested in. My clients are commonly ex-pats searching for an easily accessible therapy that is compatible with a lifestyle on the move.

After graduation, I realized that providing international online therapy was the best way for me to combine my professional strengths. It enabled me to create the international life I had always dreamed of. I have since gained therapy experience for about three years. I hope that my way of providing therapy enables others to customize their international lives without the geographical restrictions of traditional therapy.

I approach therapy holistically by combining the philosophy of meditation with the hard, scientific approach to psychology. My therapy work has been influenced by trauma-informed and inclusive cognitive behavioral therapy, schema therapy, self-compassionate approach, mindfulness, somatic exercises, and attachment theory. In practice that means that the therapy I offer is "just talking therapy" where we try to shed mental baggage and improve the client's self-confidence and autonomy over their mental wellbeing. People are entities and we need to care for the physiology behind mental health to achieve sustainable well-being.
